Bokdia GroFin didn't begin in 1971 — that's just when the family's business became a lending business. The real story starts generations earlier, in Khangta, a small town in Rajasthan.
The story begins in Khangta, a small town in Jodhpur district, Rajasthan — long before Chennai, long before lending, this is where the Bokdia name starts.
Son of Jasraj, carrying the family forward into the next generation.
Founded the wool trading firm "Jasraj Jethmal" — named for his grandfather Jasraj — based out of Beawar, with offices reaching as far as Bombay, Karachi, and Delhi. The business that would eventually become Bokdia GroFin started here.
Made the defining move — migrating the family business from Rajasthan to Chennai in 1960, planting the roots that everything since has grown from.
Expanded the business across South India, Kerala, Vapi, and Indore — and made the pivot that defines the firm today: from general business into structured private lending. The institutional foundation Bokdia GroFin stands on.

A business doesn't grow on a fixed calendar. Neither should its funding. Every structure we offer is built around your actual repayment capacity, not a bank template.
We're a lending partner, not a transaction counter. If a smaller loan or a different structure genuinely serves you better, we'll say so — even if it means less business for us.
Every rupee we lend comes from our own pool. We've never sourced funds from a third party after a client applies — which is what separates a principal lender from a broker.
